Your privacy matters
Cookie choices & privacy
We want you to feel welcome and in control. You may browse this website without enabling optional storage or external services. Choosing optional cookies is separate from consenting to a prayer request, membership record, donation or other form.
What is always available?
Essential storage supports secure sessions, form protection, shopping baskets and your privacy choice. Our session cookie coclb_sid is a secure, HttpOnly cookie on HTTPS, with SameSite protection. It lasts for the browser session; server sessions may expire sooner. Your consent choice is stored locally on this browser as coclb-consent-v1, including the policy version, choice and time, and is treated as expired after 180 days. This consent mechanism does not store your name, email or IP address in that choice.
Optional remembered preferences
If allowed, coclb-ann-* and coclb-popup-* remember dismissed announcements in local storage. The fallback announcement cookie lasts up to 180 days. Local-storage dismissals remain until cleared, a changed announcement uses a new identifier, or permission is withdrawn. Without permission, dismissal works for the current page only.
Optional external media & services
Facebook videos, YouTube videos, Google Maps, Google Fonts and externally hosted images are blocked until you allow external services. When enabled, these providers receive connection information such as your IP address and browser information, and may use their own cookies or process data outside the Philippines or European Economic Area. Their retention and handling are controlled by their policies. Ordinary links to external websites do not load an embed here; following a link takes you to that provider.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie Settings in the footer at any time. Rejecting optional features stops and removes managed embeds, disables external font/image loading, and clears this website’s remembered announcement dismissals. We cannot erase cookies stored on another provider’s domain or undo data already transmitted; use your browser controls or contact that provider for these. Clearing browser storage, changing browser/device, or a new policy version may ask you again.
Security and other data
Hosting security logs, fraud protection and necessary form verification are separate from optional marketing or analytics. If configured, Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect forms; read Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This release adds no advertising or analytics tracker.
Our controls support informed, specific choices and withdrawal in line with GDPR consent principles and applicable cookie rules. For information about congregation records, retention and your rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act and applicable data-protection law, read our Data Privacy Policy. Contact connect@coclb.org about your information.
